When Louie Santos was young, she lived a prayerful and virtuous life. She did everything she could to live a life as a God-fearing woman. And despite everything, she felt that none of it was ever enough.
As life went on, her heart kept wavering. Not only did she feel something was missing in her life, she knew it in her heart as well. She would dwell on other people’s perspective of her, her previous mistakes, unresolved relationships, and insecurities she felt growing up.
“I was still looking for something in life,” she said. Though she kept her faith, so did the hole in her heart remain.
