BLOGGING 101: The Basics of Blogging
Many pastors still think technologies havenât caught on or that investing in social media isnât worth their churchâs time. Next time you hear that from someone, perhaps you could share a few of these statistics with them:
* It took radio 38 years to reach 50 million listeners. Terrestrial TV took 13 years to reach 50 million users. The Internet took four years to reach 50 million people⊠In less than nine months, Facebook added 100 million users.
* Universal McCann reports that 77% of all active internet users regularly read blogs.
* More than 120 million users log on to Facebook at least once each day and more than 30 million users update their statuses at least once each day. Combined, more than 5 billion minutes are spent on the site on a daily basis.
* Over the past 12 months, Twitterâs year-on-year growth rate has broken the 1000% barrier.
* If Facebook were a country, it would be the fourth most populated place in the world. This means it easily beats the likes of Brazil, Russia and Japan in terms of size.

World Partners
Next week weâll be starting a series called, âPassion.â This two-part series will help us understand Godâs heart for the nations. Victory has always valued world missions, and as we focus on this in the next series, weâll also be given the opportunity to take part in obeying Godâs command to disciple nations. Through the World Partners program, weâll all have a chance to share in Godâs passion by supporting church plants, missionaries, outreaches, and relief efforts in different parts of the globe. You can all be a part of this, so watch out for the details next Sunday.
Genuine, Is your FAITH real?
Put your faith to the test to see if  itâs real!
âGenuineâ is a five-part series based on the book of James that will challenge the way you look at faith and the true nature of your relationship with God.
Happy Anniversary, Victory!

Hours after Victory@25, people were still on a high. Professionals, families, and barkadas extended the celebration as they filled coffeeshops surrounding the Araneta Coliseum. Our back-to-back celebrations assembled more than 16,000 delegates from all over the country. It was like one big family reunion, gathering everyone from the youngest members to those who were there since day one.
We saw and learned a lot of new thingsâfrom in-house jokes to amazing talents to encouraging stories about changed lives. As we revisited the past, celebrated the present, and envisioned the future, only one thing was repeatedly emphasized and instilled in the hearts of those who were thereâGod is faithful. Throughout the years, many lives have been transformed by
God’s love. And His love has spread even to the generations that followed. Today, we are even more excited about what God will do in the next twenty-five years!
The party isn’t over yet. Whether or not you were with us during the event, you’re all a part of this celebration. Watch out for more photos and video snippets from the afternoon and evening programs at victoryat25.com.
